Maddie Sanderson would be proud to honor her older brother’s dying wish, that she scatters his ashes over eight destinations that the adventurous 29-year-old never got to visit before he died from cancer. But in his will, Josh assigned her an impossible partner to help complete the mission—Dominic Perry. Seriously, if Maddie weren’t already at her brother's funeral, she would have killed him for this.
Sure, Dom was Josh’s life-long best friend. He’s also the infuriating man who broke Maddie’s heart back when she was naïve enough to give it to him. But since Dom insists on following the rules and Josh didn’t leave much room for Maddie to argue the matter, they embark together on a series of farewell trips that span thousands of miles, exploring new places and revisiting their complicated history along the way.
After a snowstorm leads to a shared bed, Maddie starts to wonder if her brother might be matchmaking from the grave. But when grief also reopens old wounds between them, Maddie will need more than Josh’s ghostly guidance to trust Dom again.

Please note that all orders (effective 10/7/25 after returning from bereavement leave) are processed and shipped within 2-4 business days (Monday - Friday, not including holidays).
Blind Date with a Book orders/subscriptions will be shipped the 12th of each month unless otherwise stated.
If your order includes a preorder, you will receive your items once the preorder becomes available, which is typically the week of publication unless otherwise stated (ex: hand signed copies that arrive post release). If you wish to receive your other items as soon as possible, please place two separate orders. This will allow for two shipping labels to be created.
After items are shipped, all delivery times will vary based on your location, which typically is between 5-8 business days (Economy Shipping). There may be some delays as we enter into the busiest season of the year (November/December/early January). Please be patient! Shipping is only available for U.S. at this time.
Once your order has been shipped, an email will be sent with your tracking information. This can take up to 48 hours to update.

If your order is incorrect upon arrival, please reach out to us at hello@alwaysyoursbookshop.com within 5 days of receiving your order with your order number. Our goal is to make sure you are happy!
If any damages incurred during shipping or if your package was lost, unfortunately this is out of our control. If this instance happens, please file a claim directly with the shipping carrier.
