Being a career hotshot, a wildland firefighter, is all I've ever known. It's my greatest passion. This job is dangerous, and after watching my parents' marriage fail because of it, I knew long ago I'd never be a relationship kinda guy.
All of that changes when my best friend moves his recently widowed--and pregnant--younger sister and her two kids in next door. I've been crazy about Teddy for years. So when I happen to assist in an unexpected emergency home birth for her new baby, I find myself spending more and more time near her and her kids. Teddy's heart is locked up like Fort Knox after losing her husband, and breaking down her defenses is damn near impossible... but I want to show her that I'm here to stay. For all of them.
As superintendent, my duty to my crew has always been my priority. But with Teddy's heart on the line, can I give up the only life I've ever known? Or am I doomed to be honor bound and lose the only woman I've ever loved?

Please note that all orders (effective 10/7/25 after returning from bereavement leave) are processed and shipped within 2-4 business days (Monday - Friday, not including holidays).
Blind Date with a Book orders/subscriptions will be shipped the 12th of each month unless otherwise stated.
If your order includes a preorder, you will receive your items once the preorder becomes available, which is typically the week of publication unless otherwise stated (ex: hand signed copies that arrive post release). If you wish to receive your other items as soon as possible, please place two separate orders. This will allow for two shipping labels to be created.
After items are shipped, all delivery times will vary based on your location, which typically is between 5-8 business days (Economy Shipping). There may be some delays as we enter into the busiest season of the year (November/December/early January). Please be patient! Shipping is only available for U.S. at this time.
Once your order has been shipped, an email will be sent with your tracking information. This can take up to 48 hours to update.

If your order is incorrect upon arrival, please reach out to us at hello@alwaysyoursbookshop.com within 5 days of receiving your order with your order number. Our goal is to make sure you are happy!
If any damages incurred during shipping or if your package was lost, unfortunately this is out of our control. If this instance happens, please file a claim directly with the shipping carrier.
